Music that changes lives
The Shalva Band is comprised of five talented musicians with disabilities and performs to the highest musical standards. Inspiring crowds with its musical repertoire and charm, the band is one of Shalva’s most celebrated inclusion programs.

The Shalva Band, formed in 2005 as part of Shalva’s music therapy program, has grown into a symbol of inclusion and artistic excellence. Many members are graduates of Shalva’s rehabilitation programs, where their musical talents were nurtured. Beyond their musical careers, band members engage in studies, work, and volunteering within the wider community.
In 2019, the band captivated the nation on “HaKokhav HaBa,” Israel’s version of “Rising Star,” reaching the finals. They withdrew to honor their commitment to Sabbath observance. Subsequently, they performed “A Million Dreams” at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019, gaining international acclaim.
Today, the Shalva Band enjoys growing popularity in Israel, performing regularly with well-known artists and leading cultural integration efforts. Their performances shatter stereotypes, captivate audiences, and inspire belief in the potential inherent in every individual.
