We are grateful that once again our doors are open to delegations and visitors from around the world. A Japanese delegation visited Shalva headed by Japan’s Ambassador Mizushima and Rabbi Abraham Cooper, the Associate Dean of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles. Israel's Minister of Defense, Benny Gantz - visited Shalva and met with soldiers from Shalva's "Rising in Rank" IDF program. It was a particularly moving and meaningful visit for all.
Commander of Israel's Air Force, Amikam Nurkin, came to Shalva with 30 officers for a day of volunteering, activities and disability awareness training. It was an incredibly enriching experience for both the soldiers and Shalva's children.
