Now his dream is coming true. Our first recruits have begun their service.
The program ‘Rising in Rank’ is a unique program intended for young adults with disabilities, who want to do voluntary military service in the IDF.
Participants in the program live at the Shalva National Center, and in addition participate in the Jerusalem College of Technology (Machon Lev) program combining academics and Torah study.
The program includes communal living, employment and recreational activities. A springboard for life, the program provides opportunity and readiness for independent living upon discharge from the army.
